It’s A Crazy World Out There When . . .   3 comments

Restoration with Legos

It’s a crazy world out there,

When a woman who advocates assassinating doctors writes today asking how many abortions I’ve had. I think the anatomical cluelessness says it all.

When Arizona continues to eliminate care to the poor under Medicaid because of fiscal irresponsibility.

‎When intelligent people believe “. . . Anthropogenic(manmade) Global Warming is a global economic power grab being promoted by the world financial cartels as a means to implement a single global authority, a central global bank and a single global fiat currency. It has nothing to do with science.”

When hearing word of the death of Dennis Hopper, the rebel with a cause, the reply from the current generation was, “Who?” George Blanda, “Who?” Lucille Clifton, “Who?” Robert Culp, “Who?” Tony Curtis, “Who?” June Havoc, “Who?” Benjamin F. Hooks, “Who?” Jack Levine, ”Who?” Mitch Miller, “Who?” Patricia Neal, “Who?” Edwin Newman, “Who?” Teddy Pendergrass, “Who?” Robin Roberts, “Who?” Ron Santo, “Who?” Leonard Skinner, “Who?” Theodore C. Sorenson, “Who?” Howard Zinn, “Who?”

When economic experts see free markets are basically rational and efficient on the own – and governments only interfere.

When thieves break in a Canadian store to steal free items.

When an inmate in California who disliked salami was able to receive kosher meals after his attorney cited the “Seinfeld” holiday Festivus as his religious belief.

When a judge’s opinion renders an entire provision of the Constitution meaningless.

When the deficit hawks don’t understand that the deficit problem is actually the problem of a broken health care system.

When it seems an unwritten rule in establishment Washington that homophobia is at most a misdemeanor.

When Fox host and senior judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano appeared on “Conspiracy King” Alex Jones’ radio show last week and announced that 9-11 “couldn’t possibly have been done the way the government told us.

  1. I can see I’m going to love this blog. Who knew Festivus was a religion in and of itself? Where do we sign up?

  2. We all need a Festivus Day so we can tell others how they have disappointed us in the past year, followed by a Festivus dinner, and then completed by the “Feats of Strength” pinning the head of the household, or something of a similar nature.
