We have now been in Tucson for three months, during which time I’ve been driving with a Texas driver’s license and license plates. However, since only a few days remain to register to vote in the November election. So, now I’m officially an Arizonan. James’ monkey helped me put on the new plate.

Glad you got that done. We Democrats need all the votes we can get!!!
. . . yes, I was running out of time to be registered. The motor vehicle dept. here is the best I have ever experienced. In about 25 minutes I got my drivers license (the permanent copy), AZ license plate and voter registration. I went there expecting it would take hours. Plus, the people were actually friendly!
