As we start to get sustain winds of 25-30 mph, word comes that Jill’s water broke and she is currently in route to the Texas Medical Center. We know it could be hours yet before the baby’s birth, but with the hurricane about to make landfall, this is a good move.
We know this is going to be a long night as the eye of the storm comes right up I-45. One of the things common to hurricanes are tornadoes, which are hard to hear in a hurricane and difficult to see at night. As I said, this could be a long night.
