Me and My Sister, Children of The Past!   Leave a comment

I have known for years that I had an older sister I had never met. Today, I received a comment on my St. John’s Military Academy posting last summer — http://kenneturner.com/2008/08/03/st-johns-military-academy-kenne-lawrence-turner/#comment-279 from Jean Turner-Polston, my sister. Unbelievable! In that posting, I wrote:

The yearbook reads: “Oh My! The love man from Detroit. Besides being the class poet, he is a man of the world. Ask Dorothy.”
Any conclusions on my part would be complete speculation. Dad was married four times, the first in his early twenties. This marriage, resulting in a daughter, came to a heartbreaking end.  Was this Dorothy? Mother would have known.

Jean’s mother is Dorothy!  Unbelievable! Jean and I have been emailing back-and-forth since Friday. We are indeed, children of the past.

Unbelievable!

Tell me blogging is a waste of time!
