Ken & Mary’s 30th Anniversary Party
This entry is a little late, since the party took place August 2, 2008. Having just bought a digital video camera for recording the road trip Joy and I were planning with her mother, Ken & Mary’s party was the first time I used the new camera. The video editing skill development process has been slow, in fact, I still haven’t finished the road trip video, as well as a few others.
The anniversary party was a very enjoyable evening with friends and great conversation. Although this party was not meant to be one of the Ken & Mary Blues Project events, it still would not be an evening with Ken and Mary without some live music provided by a few of their friends — Dave Pierce and Mike Durbin played guitar and sang a few songs. The video clip tries to capture some of the conversation and music on this hot August evening in the piney woods of east Texas.
