on this summer
solstice day —
pulsating
from the center
of the planet,
spinning
and blending
with the water,
generating
an intimacy
with all things.
The flowing water
doesn’t hinder
the emerald glass,
glowing
just below the surface
providing color
to the mountains;
the sound of running water
music to the heart,
realizing completeness.
