We already voted by mail. Don’t forget to Vote!
“The right to vote is precious and almost sacred,
and one of the most important blessings of our democracy.
Today we must be vigilant in protecting that blessing.”
— John Lewis

Ode to the Voting
A Sonnet by Steven Magallanes
My cute Voting, you inspire me to write.
How I love the way you call and wallow,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the fast solow.
Let me compare you to a cold stardust?
You are more astute, aghast and jolly.
Wild heat toasts the big frolics of August,
And summertime has the bold hog molly.
How do I love you? Let me count the ways.
I love your democratic and people.
Thinking of your important fills my days.
My love for you is the congresspeople.
Now I must away with a broadcast heart,
Remember my old words whilst we’re apart.
