spend the night along the Tanque Verde wash, each morning they start
circling up seeking wind currents in their ride north.

    We have lived here in Tucson near the Tanque Verde wash for almost 12 years, and twice each year (spring and fall) would count hundreds of turkey vultures migrating through the area. However, the numbers have been few in the past couple of years. — no idea why. — kenne
