It started just now with a hummingbird
Hovering over the porch two yards away then gone,
It stopped me studying.
I saw the redwood post
Leaning in clod ground
Tangled in a bush of yellow flowers

We had tons of anna hummingbirds in Continental Divide, NM when we were there, but have none here in Wisconsin since we moved, of course. We miss seeing them. This reminds me of how beautiful they are.
