Sonoran Spring — Image by kenne
Most days I walk the rocky trails
with a camera hanging on my shoulder.
I stop, and again a little farther down
to gather a new perspective making use of
color and brightness everywhere I look.
With age, I have become a more casual hiker
allowing more time to ponder and train my eyes
to better capture the raw mystery and diversity
of plants and animals in the Sonoran spring,
where life is both fragile and strong.

Great composition!
So much to be gained by slowing our pace!
