I don’t understand what we are supposed to do. I don’t condone gassing kids either but how do we keep these people out? Or do we? Do we just eliminate the border and let anybody in? This is a very difficult social problem and I don’t know how we can address it. These people are coming into our country because they need help. But how do we help them and not jeopardize our own way of life? Unfortunately, I don’t have any answers.
U.S. Immigration Law covers seeking asylum which states anyone entering this country can request asylum regardless of where they enter. The Administration is saying they must enter only at official points of entry is not the law. Just because one may seek asylum doesn’t mean each will be approved. I guess that placing more personnel to process the requests would have cost a lot less than the cost of placing 5,000 troops on the border.
AMEN!! Bulldog
All Americans should read the short booklet “ON TYRANNY” by Timothy Snyder
