When I walked over this bridge, I had to stop and touch. Imagine all the famous people that walked this bridge from Queen Victoria to Charles Dickens. It touched my soul.
I keep trying to imagine what it was like when the bridge was reassembled in the desert with nothing around it and no water running under it.
Quite a difference from the River Thames and the smog filled city of London! The bridge would have many stories to tell.
