Doubtful Canyon, sometimes referred to as “Doubtful Pass” because at one time was part of the Butterfield Stage route into eastern Arizona. My good friend Tom Markey, one of his hunting buddies and me spent a weekend exploring the canyon. Parts of the pass were accessible only by a 4X4 vehicle.
