Wow. Did the snake actually manage to ingest the lizard?

The snake went on into the brushesso I don’t know for sure, but snakes can ingest a lot.

That snake is most likely an Eastern Patch-nosed Snake, Salvadora grahamiae. I can’t nail down the exact species of Whiptail lizard. But still a nice action photo. thanks.
