Somebody’s Comin’
Part of my youth
was living in the country
with my grandparents.
Today, I hasitate
calling myself
a country boy,
but once a country boy,
always a country boy.
You want proof?
In the country
you can see somebody
down the road,
maybe a mile away,
so you would shout out
letting everybody know;
“Somebody’s comin’,
Somebody’s comin’
down the road!”
