Mountain Stream In Pima Canyon, Santa Catalina Mountains (February 9, 2015) — Image by kenne
In the Sonoran Desert mountains
the sound of spring is running water
with cheery birds providing the background vocals.
Hiking mountain canyons in the spring
requires rock hopping
across the many stream crossing.
By mid-day, butterflies and bees
share in nature’s annual awakening.

Kenne, I ran across your blog about three months ago. I’ve enjoyed your thoughts and photo work very much. Just wondering – are you doing the photo art work in Photoshop? Jeff, SaddleBrooke, AZ
I use Adobe CS6, yes.
is this a painting? I can’t tell
It’s a high-contrast photo.
whats a high contrast photo, I don’t know anything about photography
The more contrast a photo has the more ease to see it — the lines stand out more with more definition.
ohh, thanks
The sounds of a mountain stream are soothing to the soul.
That’s why you want to stop and sit be it.
