“Nostalgia On My Mind” — Image by kenne
Living in the past
Is not a flash from the past,
That is nostalgia.
Like a Springsteen song
On ordinary people,
Companions in time.
Embracing the past
So to engage the future,
Cross the railroad tracks.
Born in the forties
Goin’ someplace there’s no goin’ back,
Highway fifty-nine.
Pass on the story
“Deliver me from nowhere,”
Born in the USA.

We still have a drive-in movie at a town about an hour away. Lynn Drive-In Theater has been open for years and is still a very popular spot in the summer. This summer, I imagine it is very popular. They have two screens – one usually has something that children will like while the other one leans toward adult adventure.
