A Mother’s Love Returned, Laboring In Gratitude   11 comments

Less than three weeks ago, Joy was in southern California planning her mother’s 90th birthday celebration with sisters Jody and Jeri. This past Tuesday, she returned, this time to her mother’s deathbed. This afternoon Virginia passed away peacefully. She is survived by her eight children, many grand and great-grandchildren.

The only thing greater

than a mother’s

undying love

is the combined love

returned to her

by those she loves,

laboring in their

song of gratitude.

    • She was looking forward to her 90th birthday and almost made it if it wasn’t for a bad fall this past weekend.

      • I am so sorry Ken to have her taken from you in such a sudden way. It sounds as if she lived s full and happy life. Was she your mother , it is never a good time to lose your mum. My thoughts are with you and all your family. xx

  4. What a lovely picture and tribute. My condolences to all of you.

  5. We’re so sorry for your loss. We know the emptiness we feel with the passing of our Moms. For a guy…they say you never become a man until your Mom passes away. We love and miss you guys.
