Aspen Draw August 2013Wildflowers Color The Mountain Meadows From Blossom To Blossom — Image by kenne

There are days we live
as if death were nowhere
in the background; from joy
to joy to joy, from wing to wing,
from blossom to blossom to
impossible blossom, to sweet impossible blossom.

— from the Li-Young Lee poem “From Blossoms”

  1. Someone once told me that we all live on death row…..and still, as we go through life, we find a way to smile.
This poem by Li-Young Lee looks at life and death in a much more positive way! Very nice.
    Beautiful wildflowers, Kenne.
