  1. Thurber’s cotton is a beautiful flower and you’ve captured it beautifully. I remember a James Thurber story; The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. I read the New Yorker when I was a kid and there were always James Thurber cartoons. All I can conjure up from my memory re: Thurber!

    • The Thurber quote and the Thurber’s Cotton photo are related by name only, but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work JT into the posting. I’ve aways loved his work.
