When I worked with Bob Martin while he was in the process of founding Tohono O’odham Community College, I fell in love with the palo verde trees and the cholla. I wrote a poem years ago about founding the college and both were included in the poem. This image is spectacular in that I have never seen a whole forest of Cholla. I’m glad you moved to Tucson, though it’s too hot for me.
